Apr 10, 2018She was born August 17, 1921, in Letart, a daughter of the late Archie Stanley and Dora Kathryn (Hoffman) Layne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Leo F. Gibbs; brothers, Robert E. Layne, and her twin, Ivan Layne; sisters, Mildred Moses and Ellen Layne.She was a homemaker and attended the Bachtel United Methodist Church, New Haven. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting, picking berries and making apple butter.Survivors include her sons, Thomas W. (Sheila) Gibbs of Ripley and Larry A. (Dottie) Gibbs of Lesage; daughters, Debra K. (Mickey) Menchini of Lima, Ohio, and Sandra K.
